The PushLock is an anchor with a knotless suture designed to repair the instability of the glenohumeral joint. The anchor allows the suture to be passed independently through the desired amount of tissue before the anchor is implanted. This characteristic allows the surgeon to adequately take the amount of capsule or labrum necessary for the treatment of the pathology. The original two-piece PushLock design allows the surgeon to see and adjust the tissue tension before the final insertion of the implant. The anchor is inserted in its final position and the sutures are cut flush.
